Prithviraj plays a terrorist in ANWAR



The stylish Malayalam film director Amal Neerad who made glossy technically classy films like Big B and Sagar alias Jacky, is now doing a film titled Anwar with Pritviraj.
In Anwar, Pritviraj will play a terrorist who recruits people from Kerala train them in the use of arms and ammunition and finally use them as “suicide bombers”.
Mamta is being paired with Pritviraj for the first time in this “stylish action thriller”.
Prakash Raj is playing the pivotal role of a police officer heading the Anti-Terrorist squad. Lal, TG Ravi, Salim Kumar and Sari are playing important roles in the film.
Sasi Kurup who had assisted Neerad as his camera assistant is debuting in the film as independent cinematographer.

Says Amal Neerad: “Anwar is a realistic story set against the background of terrorism. It’s totally different from my earlier films.”
